Can Australia handle two fashion luxury forums in one year? 2013 will tell.
Just a week after ragtrader.com.au broke news on the launch of a new luxury summit in May, another contender has come to the board.
Scheduled to take place on March 18 2013, deLux 13 has been dubbed as Australia's first all-day forum to focus on domestic and global business in the premium and luxury sectors.
Moderated by the ABC's Emma Alberici, deLux13 will feature a range of high-profile speakers including Louis Vuitton Oceania CEO Philip Corne and Hermes Australia managing director Karin Upton Baker.
The event is being staged by MO Luxury & INFORUM group, with The Australian Wish Magazine as media partner.
Topics will span Australia's position in the Asia-Pacific region, China's economy, the European debt crisis and weak demand in the US.
Other speakers include executives from Bain & Company, Sydney Opera House, Nespresso Australia, Macquarie Research Equities, American Express, eBay Australia and New Zealand, Emirates Airline and Aesop.
