Fashion rental platform GlamCorner has teamed up with Camilla to launch a dedicated rental site for the luxury label.

The site is the second in as many weeks for GlamCorner, which recently launched its partnership with Byron-based label Spell

The Camilla platform allows customers to rent the brand's iconic kaftans, dresses, jumpsuits and playsuits for a period of four or eight days.

The site allows customers to rent and wear high-quality garments without paying retail price to own them - helping to reduce fashion waste.

Speaking on the partnership, GlamCorner COO and co-founder Audrey Khaing-Jones said that the business is thrilled to help Camilla become more circular in its operations.

"Australians are the second-highest consumers of textiles per capita in the world which means we naturally contribute higher amounts to textile waste.

"At GlamCorner we want to revolutionise the way we consume fashion through rental.

"Our partnership with Camilla shows that consumers can still enjoy beautifully designed and high-quality garments all while being able to support the circular economy and help reduce fashion waste.

"This partnership signifies Camilla’s ongoing commitment to providing sustainable and accessible solutions to fashion lovers and we are very proud to power this and accelerate their sustainability journey," she said.

Customers who order from the specialised site will experience GlamCorner's click to rent journey, which sees GlamCorner fulfil, ship, receive back and clean the garments.

The process and strict quality control of cleaning and garment care will also prolong the life of Camilla garments in the rental life cycle.

Camilla CEO Jane McNally welcomed the partnership between the businesses.

"Our partnership with GlamCorner perfectly aligns with our brand’s vision to become a more conscious retailer and serve the shifting values of our customer base.

"It’s an important step towards reducing the impact unused clothes have on our planet and giving consumers a more accessible entry point to the brand.

"We’re excited to continue exploring the innovative ways we can Colour the World in Camilla," she said.
