New Zealand-based footwear brand, Merchant 1948, has stepped up its offering for the Australian market, introducing a new monogramming service.

The 'while-you-wait' monogramming service has been introduced to the brand's stores in the Emporium, Chadstone, Westfield Southland and Highpoint shopping centres, as well as online across Australia.

In a statement, Merchant 1948, said that a monogramming is the perfect way to give a unique gift.

"A personalised, monogrammed bag, accessory or pair of sneakers is the ultimate way to create a unique offering and makes the perfect gift for a tricky-to-buy-for loved one.

"Arriving just in time for the gifting season, [the] monogramming will be a free service for up to three letters placed on the purchased item of choice, with a small cost for any additional letters.

"The process is quick, and for Emporium, Chadstone, Southland and Highpoint Merchant 1948 stores, monogrammed items can be completed on the spot (subject to availability). All other stores offer a 3-5 day return service."

During May, the business will also be hosting an activation promoting its shoe cleaning and repairs service - which it introduced in 2018 - at its Chadstone store, inviting customers to learn more about how Merchant 1948 can help repair and clean their shoes.
