Zara will tighten its grip on the local market tomorrow with a sixth Australian store set to launch at Westfield Doncaster Shopping Centre in Melbourne.

This latest store launch follows the recent opening of the Zara Chadstone and Bondi Junction stores in August and September respectively, following the brand’s arrival in Australia in April 2011.

Spanning approximately 1400 square meters over two floors, the store will also showcase Zara’s new look which was launched at the new Fifth Avenue store in New York, and more recently at Chadstone and Bondi Junction.

Zara Doncaster, equipped with 22 fitting rooms in total, will carry the Zara spring/summer collection for women, men and kids with new deliveries to arrive in store twice a week.

The store, which will trade until 9pm for the first week of opening, is located at Westfield Doncaster Shopping Centre is located on Level 1, 619 Doncaster Rd (Cnr Williamsons Rd).

Zara Doncaster joins Zara's existing retail network in Australia, which includes stores at Pitt Street Mall in Westfield Sydney; Bourke Street in Melbourne and; Burnside Village in Adelaide in addition to Zara Chadstone and Bondi Junction.

Zara is now present in 85 markets with close to 1,600 stores worldwide. Zara is owned by the Inditex Group, one of the largest fashion retailers in the world with more than 5,600 stores in five continents.

In addition to Zara, Inditex has seven other brands: Pull and Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Uterqüe.
