Byron Bay clothing brand Thrills has vowed to retain all of full-time staff in the midst of COVID-19 uncertainty.

The decision was announced after temporarily closing its popular retail stores in Byron Bay, Sydney and Melbourne due to COVID-19.

Thrills co-owner Ryan Collins explained it was an easy decision for the three owners to make as their staff have been pivotal to the company’s success since starting out 10 years ago.

“Over the past month, we have all experienced an unprecedented change to life as we know it and, while times are both unsettling and challenging it’s important for us to remain focused on what’s important,” he said.

“From the moment this pandemic escalated, we knew the correct choice for our brand was to retain our team and weather the storm together as a family.”

“As family-focused business owners, our greatest asset lies with the people who have grown Thrills  to where it is today, and we will continue to support one another through this time and what lies ahead.”

Thrills co-owner Brooke McGregor, revealed business is changing every day and the team are working harder than ever before to ensure the brand is around for the long haul.

“We are so thankful for our loyal customers who have continued to support us during this strange time and shown an outpouring of love,” he said.

“Presently the team are working from home and continuing to keep business as usual as much as possible while ensuring our customers are feeling connected and up-to-date with us.”

“Rest assured, our design team are pushing forward to create quality clothing and accessories while reducing our impact on the planet and inspiring an achievable path for change.

“One of our latest initiatives is our switch to 100% organic cotton  for the majority of our best-selling denim styles, and this is just the beginning.”

Thrills products are available for purchase online at www.thrills.co where their warehouse team continues to safely and personally ship out from Byron Bay.
