High-end apparel fashion house Ance Studios has announced the launch of its second Sydney store.

The 390 square metre store, located on the corner of King and Elizabeth Street, will stock full collections for both women and men.

Acne Studios chairman Mikael Schiller said the while the openings of the first and second stores had been quite some time apart, the company felt this was the perfect time to launch.

"We opened our first store in Sydney in 2009 and since then the Australian market has been very close to our hearts.

"Now it feels great to open a large second store in the centre of Sydney, the space being a good representation of the present day Acne Studios universe."

The stores L-shaped spaced has been designed with stainless steel walls that curve through the pastel yellow store.

External windows have been lowered and lengthened, as well as the height of the store's roof.

700 lighting fixtures called illuminated mushrooms have been installed and set in a rigorous pattern of lines that run throughout the space.

Stainless steel railings and tables are among the design signatures that link Sydney to other Acne Studios locations around the world, with the poured off-white terrazzo floor, coupled with the organic feel benches and stools acting as a juxtaposition.
