Menswear label The Academy Brand will open a store in Westfield Miranda later this month.
The company has been trying to secure a space in South Sydney for some time, reporting a strong following in the area and increasing demand for a local outlet.
Despite a strong wholesale partnership with David Jones, the company's founder Anthony Pitt believes a standalone store in the area will have “a huge focus to ensure customers can directly connect with the brand and its collections.”
The Academy Brand currently operates three stores in Sydney at Newtown, Bondi Beach and Paddington.
The Miranda store is set to launch on August 23rd.
