Wanted Shoes has created another high-profile store opening.
For the second time in Sydney, it offered customers the chance to win $3500 worth of shoes.
Customers queued outside its Macquarie Centre store launch for the chance to unlock a cabinet containing the prize.
Marketing manager Jennifer Christodolou said thousands of customers pre-registered for a key to open the cabinet.
“We had over 2500 people pre-register for keys before the event which was similar to our last event so we were quietly confident we could draw a crowd.”
The event officially started at 5:30pm however customers began queuing out the front of the new store at 4:30pm.
Customers started to weave around the third level of the centre and out towards the car park.
The opening debuted the new Wanted concept, consisting of a contemporary neutral palate with timber finishes, polished
bronze detailing and marble accents.
Wanted currently has 19 boutiques in NSW, one in VIC and one in QLD.
