Wait, has Politix opened a dry cleaning store?

Walk past 168 Kings Street in Newtown and you'll think the answer is yes.

But head behind the facade and there's an underground pool hall, complete with a speakeasy bar.

The menswear retailer is set to run an immersive brand experience at the site from May 2 to May 17.

Inspired by the brand's recent AW19 campaign shoot, the 'After Dark' space reflects key colours and styles from the campaign.

Politix After Dark will launch this evening, with a lineup of entertainment including stand-up comedy from former Triple J presenters Alex Dyson and Kyran Wheatly.

This will be followed by a DJ set by musical act Client Liaison.

Following launch, VIP Guests on key nights will be treated to a line up of comedy provided by Mushroom Group, music by Sydney DJ Jesabel and beverages by Brown Brothers, Young Henry’s and Absolute.

The final instalment of the initiative will be a venue takeover by Politix charity partner, the Movember foundation.
