Uniqlo Australia will continue its rapid expansion into the suburban market.

Uniqlo Australia has today announced that it will open two new Sydney stores at Westfield Parramatta, located in Sydney’s North West, and Westfield Miranda, located in the Sutherland Shire.

The new Parramatta store will span over 1,090sqm in the recently refurbished Westfield.

The Miranda store, spanning 1,250sqm, will also open alongside 100 new retailers in the largest shopping centre in Sydney’s south.

The new stores will showcase the latest Autumn / Winter ‘ 15 collection alongside a range of men’s women’s, kids’ and babies’ fashion items.

The latest store openings follow the success of the MidCity and Macquarie Centre openings last year.

The Japanese retailer’s expansion is testament to the brands growing presence in Australia and dedication to bringing the unique product offering to customers across the state.

Uniqlo Australia CEO Shoichi Miyasaka said the brand is dedicated to brining its product offering to customers across the state.

"We’re excited to expand our presence in New South Wales and extend our offering of high quality, affordable options to customers who are yet experience the brand.

"We’ve received a very positive response from the local market since we opened our first store in Sydney and we’re incredibly excited to continue to grow our presence within Australia, as a key market for our brand in the Asia and Oceania region."

Australia is UNIQLO’s 16th market globally, continuing the brand’s active growth in the Asia Pacific region following store debuts in Singapore (2009), Malaysia (2010), Taiwan (2010), Thailand (2011), the Philippines (2012), Indonesia (2013).
