Tony Bianco will be opening its first international store in Beijing, China.

Tony Bianco has partnered with locally based retail specialists Shanghai Smile Commercial for the joint venture.

The company that has worked with a number of international fashion brands navigating their way into China.

Located at Chaoyang Joy City and with 14 floors of retail precinct, Tony Bianco will be amongst the likes of Sandro Paris, Charles & Keith, Zara, Apple, H&M and International designer brands.

Anthony and Adam Bianco, the brother duo behind the Tony Bianco brand, have spent the past few years surveying the landscape and consumer in China.

“A few years ago there was a noticable increase in daigou’s sourcing the Tony Bianco brand to send back to clients and that has continued to grow, it was the start of our research phase into what a store in China could hold for a brand like ours,” director Anthony Bianco said.

"It’s an exciting time for the Tony Bianco brand.

"A brand our father built and we continue to grow, Tony Bianco has seen tremendous growth in the US via our online store and retail partners in Revolve.

"The timing is right for us to dip our toe into the market, and whilst we walk into this venture with eyes wide open, it is definitely something we as a team are excited by”.

The Beijing store will officially open its doors on December 21.

It will showcase both Tony Bianco’s current SS19 collections and AW19, of which boots will be a highlight feature throughout the store given China is in opposite seasons to Australia.
