Melbourne based brands Tony Bianco and Quay Australia announced a new partnership to create a 'Melbourne-inspired' sunglasses collection.

Consisting of seven styles and 16 colourways, the capsule collection features 90's inspired classic silhouettes with tortoiseshell and monochromatic tones.

Each brand acknowledged strong international growth as a reason behind the partnership.

Quay Australia GM Johanna Scully said collaborations were vital to the brand and expressed her excitement to be working with another Melbourne-based label.

“Strategic collaborations are a significant part of our brand’s DNA, and it was a natural fit for us to team up with Tony Bianco and create a sunnies range crafted in, and inspired by Melbourne, where both brands were born.”

Tony Bianco director Anthony Bianco echoed similar comments, noting the importance of being able to extend its accessories offering.

“We’ve always had a strong collaboration strategy here at Tony Bianco, and joining forces with Quay Australia has allowed us to create a really cool collection of sunglasses and further extend our offering to our fashion-hungry customer."

The campaign was photographed in Melbourne's CBD and modelled by Aussie 'IT‐girl' Sarah Ellen.

The collection retails for $55‐$60 and is available online at quayaustralia.com.au, tonybianco.com, Tony Bianco boutiques nationally and select retailers worldwide.
