Tommy Hilfiger is set to open its 15th Australian store, a mere 22 days after it opened its 14th store in Sunshine Plaza.

The move comes after a $124 million re-acquisition of Australian assets by its US parent company, PVH Corp.

The new store is located in the Emporium Melbourne shopping centre and spans 275 square metres.

Echoing the global retail concept, the store features clean, modern finishes and a bright aesthetic.

The colours red, white and blue feature throughout the store and signal the brand's American heritage, while textures such as high-gloss lacquered wood, polished stainless steel and rustic oak flooring indicates the nautical lifestyle the brand draws inspiration from.

The store will showcase the Spring 2019 collections for men's and women's sportswear, footwear, accessories and underwear. Tommy sport and Tommy Jeans will also be showcased in the store.

The Emporium Melbourne Tommy Hilfiger store will open on June 14.
