Target Australia has revealed that incremental revenue from its app is “well into the millions”.

Target Australia digital executive Peter Mitchley-Hughes said that the company has now sold over 110,000 products through its app and is on a mission to further boost the company's digital presence.

“With almost 300,000 users downloading the app in approximately four months, we are seeing incredible engagement and conversion occurring through the app channel.

“Strategically, the mobile app will be a key companion to the future Target shopper, where loyalty will be rewarded, exclusive content can be consumed, and offers and product recommendations will be personalised to the customer.

“With continued investment and innovation across mobile, .com and stores, Target is poised to become Australia's most technology enabled retailer.”

Mitchley-Hughes revealed to Ragtrader that total screen time spent on the app by consumers totals 6057 days, accumulates unique daily visitors over five figures per day and has recorded 1,727,165 app launches.
