Discount department store Target has invested in a new risqué collaborative collection.
Following the successful debut of the Von Follies by Dita Von Teese lingerie range earlier this year, Target has now confirmed it will extend the partnership to stock a new limited edition collection of Von Follies.
Von Teese, who recently showcased pieces from the 'by Dita Von Teese' line as part of a runway show at the L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF), said the new collection would consist of a total of 26 exclusive pieces.
“This limited edition collection includes some of the best-selling pieces from my Von Follies debut, with my signature overwire bra revisited in a classic leopard print, black eyelash-lace paired with rich emerald green satin, and a pleated-chiffon set in sophisticated navy blue,” she said.
“I'm delighted with the response from the Von Follies LMFF presentation and am proud to create beautiful lingerie that can make every woman feel glamorous.”
The collection also includes key styles such as balconette bras, full briefs, g-strings, suspenders and fitted bustiers, as well as bras up to a G-cup and briefs up to size 22 for the very first time in selected designs.
Product will retail from $19.00 for g-strings, $27.00 for briefs, $39.00 for suspenders, $45.00 for bras, and $59.00 for bustiers, in both long-line and shorter styles.
The new lingerie collection is available from this month in selected Target Australia stores and online nationally at shop.target.com.au.
However, the Australian powerhouses behind Von Follies by Dita Von Teese, lingerie design-experts Diamondcut International and brand development company Lime Door Brands, have hinted at plans to extend the brand for global distribution in 2013.
