Target Australia is set to unleash yet another designer collaboration.

Emerging designer Gabrielle Brown will have her capsule collection released on November 12.

The range will drop across 40 Target stores Australia-wide as well as online.

The venture is part of Target's partnership with the 2014 National Graduate Showcase at Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival.

The retailer awarded Brown a $25,000 prize and a contract with the ‘Designers for Target’ program.

The program recently launched collections from Missoni and Dannii Minogue.

Target MD Stuart Machin said the initiative allowed Target to be a launching pad for young fashion designers.

"Target is dedicated to helping identify and nurture emerging Australian talent and we are committed to investing in the future of Australian fashion.

"Designer collaborations are important as they allow us to offer our customers premium fashionable product at affordable prices that they cannot buy elsewhere."

The 18-piece capsule collection features transeasonal jersey tops, wrap and knit dresses, shorts and tailored pants.

Brown said the opportunity has allowed her to gain an insight into the fashion industry.

"On a day-to-day basis we had meetings to talk through progress and we liaised directly with manufacturers to check fabrication and line development, it has been an invaluable experience."
