Michael Hill International is set to air two new television commercials in North America during the NFL Super Bowl.

The new look ‘We’re for Love’ creative, created in partnership with creative agency Colenso BBDO, shares real love stories captured on the streets of New York.

New Zealand and Australian viewers will receive the first television viewing on February 1, when the ad airs on all the major networks.

Michael Hill International chief marketing officer Joe Talcott said the placement is a huge win for the retailer.

"The NFL Super Bowl XLIX is a huge event attracting a massive audience both in the USA, Canada and across the globe.

"Television advertising has always been a key part of the Michael Hill business strategy.

"Super Bowl offers us a unique opportunity to showcase our brand in front of millions of people.

"We’ve been working on this campaign for over a year now and have invested a substantial amount in the development of the platform – so to be able to launch it in key markets during the Super Bowl is very exciting."

The Group currently has over 280 stores globally employing around 2400 staff.
