SurfStitch has announced the launch of a new beauty and wellness shopping destination: SurfStitch Body.

The Australian beauty market is valued at $6.5 billion. 

Featuring almost 800 different SKUs at launch, SurfStitch Body caters to women’s and men’s ranges including both local and global brands and a particular focus on organic, natural and environmentally friendly lines.

SurfStitch MD Justin Hillberg said the venture will optimise its product offering.

"We understand that the SurfStitch customer not only wants to look good in what they wear, but also to take care of themselves, both inside and out.

“The launch of SurfStitch Body is the natural evolution of the SurfStitch offering, hand-picked by our team to embrace the very best range of high quality, self-care brands.”

International and local beauty and wellness partners on board at launch include: Appelles, At Health, Aveda, Burly, Butt Naked Body, Cedar and Stone, Cosmedix, Darphin, Dope Skin Co, Handsome Skincare, Jurlique, L’Occitane, Lux Aestiva, Origins, Perricone MD, Philosophy, Salt by Hendrix, Salt & Stone, Saya Skin, SkinCeuticals, The Tonik, Three Warriors and VITAMAN.

SurfStitch will announce additional brands over the coming weeks, SurfStitch head of marketplace John Shepherd confirmed.
