Australian womenswear retailer Seduce has shuttered its Australia stores after collapsing into voluntary administration.

The business was reportedly slapped with a wind-up notice from its landlord across its nine domestic stores.

Deloitte administrators Michael Billingsley and Neil Cussen have been appointed as joint administrators.

Billingsley told business publication SmartCompany that it's too early to determine the fate of the business.

“It is still early days as far as our appointment is concerned, and particularly regarding Seduce Group Australia Pty Limited”.

“We are continuing our investigations and will report to creditors in the ordinary course of the various administrations."

Last year Seduce executed international expansion opening stores in Dubai and China.

It also has distribution partnerships with major fashion retailers such as Myer and The Iconic.

Ragtrader has contacted Seduce for a statement but has not received a comment at the time of publication.
