It's a heritage shopping landmark in Sydney - but it's going for a tougher, more directional look.

Queen Victoria Building (QVB) has ramped up last season's new creative direction for spring/summer 2014.

The valued heritage landmark has enlisted modelling export Nicole Trunfino as the face of its latest campaign.

This continues the move towards a bolder aesthetic for the heritage landmark.

Shot by Nicole Bentley and styled by Mark Vassallo, the campaign is equine style in high contrast.

Trunfino modles crip tailoring, monochrome stripes and injections of navy from the QVB's mix of Australian and international designers.

The campaign features a jet black stallion with leather belting, riding boots and a collar cameo pin continuing the theme.

The second instalment of the campaign edits six trends for summer, featuring popping prints and bright hues offset with creamy pastel leather and metallic texture.
