Rivers has officially opened its first Mega Outlet store in northern New South Wales.
Based in the Lismore suburb of Goonellabah, the outlet is the biggest Rivers store in Australia and spans 1100 square metres.
The store offers over 45,000 products covering fashion, homewares electronics and more.
Mosaic Brands CEO Scott Evans said the opening has special significance this year.
“Our Mosaic team working and living in the region along with the communities were heavily impacted by the recent floods and we know that there’s a long way to go in repairing both the physical and emotional damage caused,” Evans said.
“So while planning for this store has been in train for some time we hope its opening will play a small part in the wider economic recovery of the region.
“Our customers reaction to this store has been overwhelming and I could not be prouder of the Rivers team who despite everything they’ve faced in recent months, got us to this point and made this milestone event in the Rivers journey come to life.”
Evans said plans are underway for additional Rivers Mega Outlet stores as part of the Mosaic “Big” strategy.
