The Ritz-Carlton, Perth today announced a partnership with local Perth fashion designer Jonté Morgan who is designing and curating the wardrobe for the hotel’s staff.
Jonté will design 16 different looks to dress employees across the hotel’s departments.
Local jeweller Kailis Jewellery will complement Jonte’s garments with its Australian South Sea pearl designs.
Jonté Designs was launched in 2012.
“The Ritz-Carlton, Perth will showcase the very best of Western Australia through a commitment to local producers, suppliers, and product where possible,” Morgan said.
“The garments have been entirely manufactured in Perth to support local talent and ensure the design reflects the city’s relaxed lifestyle and culture.”
A colour palate of sky-blue tones, earthy colours and blush accents nods to the Kimberley region in Western Australia.
The Ritz-Carlton, Perth GM Dario Orsini praised the designs.
“We are very pleased these garments will allow us to tell a deeper story of Western Australia through Jonté’s thoughtful designs,” he said.
