Rebel Sport has announced a three-year partnership with Football Federation Australia (FFA), which sees the brand becoming the supporting partner of the Westfield W-League.

FFA CEO David Gallop said the deal was a coup for football in Australia, especially for continued support of women in sport.

With over 32 years of experience and over 160 stores nationwide, Rebel has a genuine passion for a healthy lifestyle and providing their customers with what they need.

“Rebel has also proved themselves as a long-standing and proud supporter of women in sport and has worked actively to lift the profile of female players and promote grassroots participation.

“We are looking forward to partnering with rebel to increase grass roots participation and champion our elite female athletes within the Westfield W-League.”

Rebel MD Erica Berchtold said the deal highlighted the commitment the brand and parent company, Super Retail Group, had to women in sport.

“We are really excited about this partnership which further highlights our commitment to women in sport.

“Football Federation Australia has been at the vanguard in this space, and we are delighted to be right there by their side in the next phase of the journey.

“We want to continue to inspire the next generation of sports stars, and show younger women that football and sport, in general, is not just a hobby, but a viable career path.

“From grass roots participation to elite athletes, we are committed to making a positive contribution to supporting our inspiring women in sport.”
