Australian eyewear label Quay has announced its latest celebrity partnership with multi-platinum, award-winning singer and rapper Lizzo. 

The new Quay x Lizzo collection features a range of eight sunglasses styles, blue light glasses and accessories. 

To celebrate the launch of the collection, Quay and Lizzo have teamed up with Feeding America. 

Their mission is to provide one million meals to people in need across America during the COVID-19 crisis. 

From May 21 – May 26, customers can buy any pair from Quay, get another pair of their choice for free and Quay will help provide at least 100 meals per purchase to people struggling with hunger.

Speaking on the partnership with Lizzo, Quay CEO Jodi Bricker said that the label wanted to work with the star as she embodies the brand's ethos. 

"We see Lizzo as an icon of confidence, self-love, and self-expression. 

"Lizzo speaks her truth and, in doing so, empowers all of us to do the same.

"Confidence, self-expression, and authenticity are at the core of everything we do at Quay, and we're excited to partner with someone who owns that and stand together to help underserved communities through Feeding America," she said. 

Lizzo added that she was thrilled to work with Quay on the collection. 

"Quay is different from other eyewear brands out there.

"They're cool and fresh, but also inclusive and attainable.

"Their message of confidence and self-expression is something that I believe in and can stand behind.

"Combine all that with the opportunity to do good with Feeding America, and it doesn’t get much better than that," she said. 

The Quay X Lizzo collection is online now and retails for between $65-85.
