Perth Fashion Festival 2012 has unveiled its official calendar, with 160 designers set to take part in the event as it enters its 14th year.
The Festival will feature 36 fashion events; with four stand-alone designer runway shows, three Western Australian designer capsule shows and a model search among the highlights.
One Fell Swoop will launch the festival at a VIP opening night staged at Perth Town Hall on September 19.
Guests will be served premium Australian wines and canapes while taking in an archive of transseasonal garments.
Department store Myer will host a fashion luncheon during the week, showcasing the latest spring/summer 2013 collections and racing trends from key suppliers.
These include Aurelio Costarella, Arthur Gallan AG, Ellery, Jayson Brunsdon, Morrison and more.
The event will also see the launch of Fashionably Loud on September 21, a free activation blending fashion and music.
Styled by Zara Bryson, Fashionably Loud will see brands such as Ellery, Kitty Grace and Story by Tang parade their works to the tunes of San Sisco.
Designer brand Flannel will dominate proceedings on September 24, with a dinner to present its spring/summer 2013 collection.
The collection 'Neronis' will be styled by former Vogue fashion editor Meg Gray and staged at the historic Hackett Hall.
The VIP closing night will take place at the Government House Ballroom on September 25.
The intimate evening will see Western Australian designers reveal their take on the classic black dress.
Perth Fashion Festival is supported by the State Government through Eventscorp, the Department of Culture and the Arts and the City of Perth.
