A Paris-based brand with over 330 boutiques across 25 countries will enter the domestic market in the second half of 2012.

Agatha Paris is set to enter the fashion jewellery market this year, with the brand currently extending stockist opportunities to Australian retailers.

The brand will also announce store openings via dedicated social media sites www.twitter.com/AGATHAAustralia and www.facebook.com/AGATHAAustralia.

The brand was founded in Paris by Michael Quiniou 38 years ago.

Agatha Paris has a design team which services 150 boutiques in France and over 180 doors worldwide, including Spain, Italy, UK, Korea and Japan.

The Australian release will include MiNi Joaillerie and Ceramic Collections, hair clips handmade in France and six collections per year based on French and Australian runway trends.

Agatha Paris Australasian representative Mitchell Grant said local consumers will no longer have to order the jewellery online, with a shortlist of stockists currently in the works.

Collections include rings, charms, bracelets and hair accessories with retail prices sitting from around $64 to $598.

The brand claims 1000 Agatha Paris products are sold worldwide every hour, with 200 watches sold a day and the team designing over 2000 products per year.

Agatha Paris has been featured in international editions of Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, Cosmopolitan and Grazia.
