Australian brands, P.E Nation and Pared Eyewear, have teamed up to release two distinct sunglasses styles, to be debuted on the runway at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia.
The collaboration sees bold colours, directional details, shield lenses, gradient finishes and the P.E Nation stripes applied to two distinct styles – Star Force and Defender.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the partnership said that the eyewear is a tribute to P.E Nation's aesthetic.
“Inspired by P.E Nation’s signature sports-meets-fashion aesthetic, the collection is an ode to streetwear, taking contemporary eyewear designs and redefining the trend for 2019.
“The Defender features a strong shield design with shield lens detailing available in black, off-white and royal blue, [while] the Star Force shades are an elevated sportswear-inspired take on the classic cat eye, featuring the same shield lens detail in black, peach and taupe.”
The Star Force and Defender P.E Nation x Pared Eyewear sunglasses will be launched exclusively on the PE Nation and Pared Eyewear websites in May and will then be rolled out globally in June. Each pair will retail for $250.
