The limited-edition Levi's x New Balance 990v3 collaboration has already sold out on the New Balance Australia website, after launching just days ago.
The collaboration – which brings together two classic American styles – launched locally on September 09 and has been snapped up by Aussie sneaker and denim fans alike.
The partnership saw the brands come together to create the limited-edition style which featured Levi’s proprietary Shrink-To-Fit denim and Hairy Suede.
The shoes also featured a co-branded N logo, finished with a custom designed Levi’s tab and were available in two colorways, Indigo and Grey.
Levi's ANZ head of marketing Trent Bos said the brands were thrilled to collaborate on the 990v3.
"New Balance’s 990 sneaker disrupted the fashion world in 1982 with its smooth lines and refined colour palette.
"Like the Levi’s 501, it’s such a classic style and we’re proud to join forces with an equally timeless brand to reimagine its most popular version — the 990v3.
"The silhouette is accentuated by our proprietary Shrink-To-Fit denim, as well as a Hairy Suede outer reminiscent of the back of the Levi’s back patch.
"It’s the latest union of two quintessentially iconic brands and a reflection of our commitment to effortless cool and unrivalled quality," he said.
The new release furthers the Levi's x New Balance partnership, which was cemented in 2020 with the autumn/winter and spring/summer collaborations.
The Levi's x New Balance 990v3 retails for $380.
