Myer has crowned PVH Heritage Brands Australia as the Myer Supplier of the Year at its annual awards gala.

With a brand stable including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Van Heusen, Pierre Cardin, Bracks, Nancy Ganz and Spanx, the company also managed to take out 'Best Soft Goods/Apparel Supplier' raking in over $15 million for Myer.

PVH Heritage Brands Australia CEO Craig Barnett believes the award is a testament to its longstanding relationship with the department store.

“PVH and Myer have enjoyed a close working relationship for 38 years and we are thrilled at being announced as the overall winner.

"We believe that it’s our shared passion for delighting the customer with new and innovative products, marketing and retail concepts that has created such a positive partnership.

"We thank everyone at Myer for this award, and look forward to delivering more wonderful customer experiences in 2016.”

The awards also recognised Alex Perry as its 'Designer of the Year' after taking the leap from David Jones in August last year.

Myer CEO Richard Umbers said that 2015 has been a successful year for the company in terms of expanding supply.

“Myer is proud of the strong relationships we have with our suppliers, and The Myer Supplier of the Year Awards event is the perfect opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding contribution they make to our business each year.

"Our suppliers play a critical role in our business as we bring the love of shopping to life for our customers.

“Congratulations to all those suppliers nominated and in particular, the winners of each category.

"It has been a wonderful year for new wanted brands at Myer, with additions such as Seed, French Connection and Nine West being introduced to our customers.

"Over the last 12 months we have installed more than 300 new brand fitouts across our store, which would not have been possible without our talented and committed suppliers and business partners."
