Mosaic Brands Limited has donated $1 million worth of clothing and a $50,000 financial donation to help support communities that have suffered during the recent bushfire crisis.

The business – which operates brands Millers, W Lane, Noni B, Rivers, Katies, Autograph, Rockmans, Crossroads and Beme – joins other fashion retailers including Myer, The Iconic, General Pants, Cue and Rodd & Gunn to make donations.

Mosaic's $50,000 monetary donation went to the St Vincent de Paul Bush Fire Appeal while the $1 million in clothing has been given to the GIVIT charity.

Mosaic Brands' CEO Scott Evans said that the business has strong connections to the communities affected by the disaster.

"This is a sombre time for all of us and our thoughts are with those affected by the devastating bushfires raging throughout our beautiful country.

"Our team members and stores have strong relationships with their communities – especially in many of the regions affected by the bushfires – and we hope these donations will be of help to those who have suffered loss as they begin to rebuild their lives," he said.
