Sportscraft has continued one of its strongest partnerships.

The womenswear label has created a capsule wool range for Winter 2015 in collaboration with The Woolmark Company.

Each wool garment, including coats, chunky sleeveless knites, sophisticated suiting and a range of merino wool will carry the Woolmark symbol.

Sportscraft was awarded the Australian Wool Board's first 'Pure New Wool' license in 1964 and has since worked alongside the company.

APG & Co. CEO Adrian Jones believes the partnership has a strong focus on producing quality.

"We're incredibly proud of our 101 year history and on-going relationship with The Woolmark Company. It's a name synonymous with unsurpassed quality, which is a leading value of our Sportscraft brand."

The Woolmark Company managing director Stuart McCullough said it's a win for the local wool industry.

"Sportscraft is one of Australia's most iconic brands. The long history of collaboration between the two brands reinforces the mutual commitment to supporting the Australian wool industry and highlighting the beauty of the world's finest fibre, Australian Merino wool."

Recently enlisted brand ambassador Naomi Watts believes in the Australian appeal of brand.

"I'm drawn to Sportscraft's modern simplicity and classic style, in particular their beautiful wools and textures. It triggers fond memories of growing up in Australia."

Sportscraft celebrated it's 100th year of operation last year.
