IMG has just announced international supermodel Coco Rocha as the official event ambassador for the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival (MBFF) Sydney.
In her role, Rocha will make an appearances on the event's opening night at Town Hall as well as sitting front row at the Australian Luxe show that will present Australian designers Christopher Esber, Ginger & Smart and Dion Lee.
Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific CEO and Mercedes-Bens Cars managing director said that the company is thrilled to welcome Rocha to our shores.
“We are thrilled to welcome Coco Rocha to Sydney, as the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Sydney ambassador for 2015.
“Coco embodies the modern woman – stylish, successful and innovative, all hallmarks of Mercedes-Benz 20 year commitment to fashion.”
The model said she is looking forward to returning to Australia for the gig.
“I have always loved visiting Sydney.
“It’s such a beautiful harbour city, and the perfect place to relax in between shows.
“I can’t wait to see what all the Australian designers have store with their latest collections.”
Rocha will also design a one-off custom Mercedes-Benz SL 300 pedal car which will be unveiled at MBFF Sydney and auctioned off to raise money for Brainwave Australia.
