Australian designer label Manning Cartell is set to open its eighth standalone store at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast next week.

The new boutique marks its second store in Queensland.

Headed by MCK Architects' Marsh Cashman Koollos, the design concept aims to reflect the Gold Coast featuring brass elements paired with the label's signature industrial theme.

The label's co-founder Gabrielle Manning said that the team is thrilled to be launching in the centre as part of its major rejuvenation.

“Concrete flooring and kinetic themes such as brass furniture legs folding and morphing into clothing racks combine to create an intelligible layout and elementary palette that ensures the garments sing.

“We're excited to be launching this boutique amidst a dynamic time for fashion in Queensland with the development of Pacific Fair.

“We see this as a growth market for high-end fashion and have been waiting for the right opportunity to expand Manning Cartell's presence up north.”

The boutique will open on August 2.
