Lovisa has clocked a 18.9% growth in revenue to $118.6 million, as it races towards global expansion.

The half year result also saw net profit after tax rise by nearly 23% to $24.8 million.

Lovisa CEO Steve Doyle said the first half result comes after a wave of expansion, with 31 store increase in Australia for the period.

The retailer also opened a site in California in November, as well as its first location in Paris.

"It's pleasing that the business has been able to maintain the solid start to the year as we continue our global rollout, helping to deliver both sales growth and gross margin expansion," Doyle said.

The result was boosted by a stellar Christmas and Boxing Day sales run.
