Jewellery and accessories chain Lovisa has rolled out additional stores in the UK following a successful pilot program in the region.

Launched in November 2015, the pilot saw the opening of Lovisa's first UK store in Leeds.

Now the retailer has expanded its reach to include sites in Bromley, Brighton and Manchester.

More store launches in the UK have been flagged by the company and although no locations have been revealed, doors will open as early as Christmas.

Lovisa has recorded a 14.3% increase in revenue to $153 million during FY16 and gross profit up 9.8% to $114 million.

In addition earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) hit $24.2 million last financial year.

International sales now attribute to 36% of Lovisa's total sales.

The company currently operates stores and franchise licences in New Zealand, South Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
