Lisa Seskin's footwear label LMS is set to expand into the $121 million online handbag and luggage market, with the launch of its debut handbag collection.

The brand will bring its first collection of handbags to the market on November 30, offering customers a selection of bags to match their LMS shoes.

Inspired by the 90s, the new collection features styles in a mix of 90s colours, animal prints and sequins, with the bags lovingly named after 90s/2000s pop-culture icons including Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez.

Seskin said the expansion into handbags came after receiving customer feedback.

"My goal has always been to create statement pieces that elevate your wardrobe and a killer handbag definitely falls under the same umbrella.

"I noticed when we had our Paddington pop-up, customers were desperate to find a cute handbag to match their new LMS shoes and I saw their frustration first-hand at the lack of options out there.

"It’s so exciting to be able to offer our loyal customers the perfect companion to their favourite shoes, it’s an absolute no brainer," she said.

The debut handbag range follows LMS' recent release of its collaboration collection with Nadia Fairfax.
