Kookai has staged a dramatic spring/summer showcase in Sydney's Woolloomoolloo Wharf.

The sunset drinks and parade, held last night at Otto Ristorante, unveiled its 'Isle Of Kookai' collection.

The range brimmed with relaxed lace, silk and linen styles inspired by the European meccas of Capri, Atrani and Ravello.

It is the first major showcase since the Australian brand owners announced an acquisition of the global business.

The deal will see revenue double to over $250 million and its store count grow from 40 Australian and New Zealand sites to over 235 locations.

It is inclusive of a second head office in Paris, boutiques in France, Switzerland and Spain as well as distributors across most corners of the globe.

Cromb and Vagner launched Kookai in Australia in 1990 under a franchise agreement with the Paris-based brand.
