Kirsten Galliott has been appointed the new editor of InStyle Australia.
Galliott has more than 20 years publishing experience in newspapers and magazines, more recently as the editor of the (sydney) magazine for the past six years.
Galliott has also held various editorship roles across Fairfax Media, ACP and Pacific Magazines.
Galliott will start her new role on October 29.
InStyle editor Kerrie McCallum announced her resignation in July, moving to editor-in-chief of the Sunday Magazine in October.
McCallum's move ended industry speculation she had been poached for the launch of Elle Australia.
The latest appointment follows editorial overhauls across Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Grazia and the impending launch of Elle and 10 in Australia.
