Australian fashion retailer Forever New has unveiled its new concept store in Victoria’s Highpoint Shopping Centre.

The store features the brand’s new store design from interior design firm, Hecker and Guthrie.

It also features a number of tech-firsts for the market.

Forever New has developed a ‘Connected Change Room’ program featuring digital screens that allow customers to scan their products inside the change room to see more detail and images of the products as well as request alternate styles and sizes.

Sales associates are notified of customers’ requests on their mobile devices. For the customer, this means requesting additional product privacy of the fitting room with regular updates on the status of their request.

The screens are also equipped with Forever New’s Visually Similar technology, which suggest similar styles available in that specific store based on the items the customer has already brought into the change room.

Forever New staff are equipped with mobile devices allowing them to look up stock, reserve items and transact straight from the shop floor.

As with all Forever New stores, the brand also offers a store to door service that allows a customer to order any product from the Forever New network and get it delivered to their door.

Forever New Managing Director Carolyn Mackenzie said she is pleased with the latest venture.

“We are incredibly proud to be one of the first Australian retailers to offer this new in-store technology that allows us to provide a seamless shopping experience to our customers."
