Guess has revealed details around its Australian expansion plans with the brand announcing that it would look to open six new outlet stores by November 2018.

The first of the six stores has opened at DFO South Wharf with a 420sqm space that features the brand's newest outlet concept layout.

The new store will showcase the brand's full portfolio of categories including womenswear, menswear and children's apparel while also including the brand's handbags, shoes and accessories ranges.

Guess also announced that it had identified five other prime locations for expansions including DFO Homebush, Moorabbin, Perth, Brisbane and Essendon.

The brand currently operates an Australian footprint of around 20 stores with the brand previously opening stores at Penrith, Parramatta and Liverpool.

In a statement, the company said that it was committed to bricks-and-mortar retail in Australia.

“These new stores with the outlet concept compliment the recent Guess openings highlighting the brands focus and commitment to bricks-and mortar retailing as part of Guess's growth in Australia.”
