In a week's time, international retail giant GAP will have most of Sydney covered.

Gap Australia will open its largest NSW store to date in Parramatta next week.

The retailer recently unveiled its third Sydney site, taking prime positioning in the re-developed Westfield Miranda.

Gap will be one of the international brands available in Parramatta, part of an initiative to elevate the fashion offering in the west of Sydney.

Gap Australia general manager Gareth Costello said the Miranda store opening also covered an important area.

"We are extremely excited about launching Gap in Miranda.

"As our first store south of the CBD, we are thrilled to be able to offer customers in this region the complete Gap experience closer to home.

"Designed for relaxed, outdoor lifestyles, Gap will be the perfect fit for the Sutherland Shire."

The new 550 square metre Miranda store houses all Gap collections, including the GapFit range.

The Miranda store is the second store from three in New South Wales to open this year as part of the brand’s roll-out plan and broader strategy for growth in Australia.

"With Miranda and our launch in Parramatta in early December will mean that we have most of Sydney covered," Costello said.

"Australians have really embraced Gap and we are excited to continue the roll-out. It is an exciting time for the brand."
