For the first time in the campaign's 13-year history, Witchery has collaborated with a designer for its 2021 White Shirt Campaign.

The retailer has called on Australian designer Toni Maticevski to help design the shirt, 100% of gross proceeds (from sales) of which will be donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF).

"It’s a real honour to be able to contribute in my own way to this year’s Witchery White Shirt Campaign," Maticevski said of the partnership.

"I am surrounded by many beautiful women in my life who provide me with support, strength and protection and in turn, I hope that the shirt I have designed can offer the same to those who are drawn to it.

"Whilst the shirt will bear the Maticevski and Witchery logo, it is a dedication to the countless nameless women who have fallen victim and fight this horrible disease," he said.

Over the 13 years of conducting the fund and awareness-raising campaign, Witchery has raised over $13 million for the OCRF, which strives to develop an early detection test for ovarian cancer.

According to the OCRF, ovarian cancer is the most lethal gynaecological cancer.

Witchery MD Simon Schofield added that the business was thrilled to partner with Maticevski on the important cause.

"We are honoured to partner with iconic Australian designer Toni Maticevski on this year’s Witchery White Shirt design, in partnership with the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

"Over the past decade, Witchery, via the OCRF, has been the single largest funder of ovarian cancer early detection research in Australia, raising over $13.8 million dollars to date through the sale of white shirts.

"We are proud to pledge our continued support towards the development of an early detection test," he said.

The 2021 Witchery White Shirt style features strong shoulder detailing, ribboning from the neck into the sleeve cuff and tapering into the waist and on the hips.

The 2021 Witchery White Shirt will be available to shop online via the Witchery website and in-store throughout Australia and New Zealand from Monday April 12 2021.

It will retail for $129.95.

Witchery White Shirt Day and World Ovarian Cancer Day is Saturday May 08 2021.
