The fashion precinct of Paddington is set to receive an extra boost as part of a six-week marketing campaign.
'Fashion Your Home' has launched as part of NSW Small Business Month.
The aim of the campaign is to support Paddington small businesses by encouraging consumers to shop local and visit the shopping precinct.
The theme was suggested and provided by Theo Onisforou, owner of Australian designer shopping destination The Intersection.
Some 12 businesses will be featured online and via social media in the six week campaign, alongside colourful street banners.
A number of the nominated businesses have sustainability credentials, including Totem Road which features textiles for the home.
Totem Road's Nic Hartley says there has been an industry shift in shopping habits.
“We believe that people are shifting towards a more conscious selection of products for their home, as we see a movement away from mass consumerism from those wanting to create a space with modern furniture that honours its origin."
