Footwear label Ecco is set to gradually reopen the remainder of its Australian store network from Monday May 25.

Reopening the Brighton and Mosman stores earlier this week, the brand will gradually open the remaining boutiques from next Monday until mid-June.

The stores are reopening with social distancing measures in place to ensure staff and customer health and safety.

Measures include floor markers to encourage the 1.5 metre distance rule, only allowing a certain number of people in the store at any given time and only accepting card payments.

The stores to open next week will be the Camberwell store in Victoria and the Harbour Town outlets in Queensland and South Australia.

Each store will also be re-opening with the Shape campaign, offering customers special deals and discounts closer to mid-June.

Ecco head of direct to consumer Jeff Karger said that the business was excited to continue reopening its network.

"The first few days back in Mosman and Brighton have seen such positive results.

"Staff and customers alike have been happy to be back and are embracing the new normal," he said.
