Melbourne's Eastland shopping centre has announced it will progressively unveil 80 additional brands to its retail offering with a strong focus on domestic and international fashion brands.

In addition to H&M and Uniqlo, South African based retailer MRP will also take up residency in the centre after opening its first Australian store in Melbourne Central.

Eastland will also house 'The Arcade' which will launch as a boutique space for up-and-coming accessories and fashion designers to sell their wares.

Eastland general manager Steve Edgerton said that the additional tenants will aim to enhance the centre's presence as a fashion and lifestyle destination in Melbourne.

“This next stage of Eastland is sure to delight our guests as part of its ongoing evolution, which has already seen the arrival of leading Australian and international brands, our stunning Town Square and now more than 350 retailers on completion.

“Eastland is the only retail destination in Melbourne’s East that has every major Australian retailer and supermarket in one place, alongside international favourites H&M, Uniqlo and coveted fashion brands such as Scanlan Theodore.

“This convenience is complimented by our suite of exceptional services such as valet parking, parcel valet, guest lounge and dining concierge.”

Other local fashion retailers joining the centre's portfolio include Tiger Mist, Lorna Jane, Bonds and Cotton On.

The centre will progressively open new stores from May 5.
