Dotti dives into online shopping

Womenswear retailer Dotti, part of The Just Group, has today launched an e-store to allow its customers to purchase products online.

The Dotti E-Store is to complement the retailer's interactive website, Dotti Nation, which launched in April 2010, and will see product updated daily for purchase online with items photographed from all angles. Customers will also be able to create “wish lists” and product can be rated, reviewed and shared with friends on Dotti Nation, which has been revamped.

Dotti general manager Sarah Rovis said the Dotti e-store was a valuable addition to the Dotti online offering.

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of this new layer to the Dotti Nation website – the Dotti E-Store. We have been working hard to create an engaging platform for our customers. Our Dotti citizens will notice some significant new features on the website which we hope they enjoy,” she said.

Eight new looks are to be uploaded to the e-store every fortnight, with a selection of items from each collection to feature in an online video. The video will nominate accessories and additions to match certain outfits, giving buyers style inspiration before purchasing pieces.

The Dotti Nation site also includes a “Design-A-Bits” feature, which allows Dotti to upload a design brief each month. Budding designers can then submit their designs via the portal and the winner's piece is produced and sold in store with a special swing tag.

Dotti joined The Just Group in 2004 and now sits along brands such as Portmans, Peter Alexander and Jacqui E. The retailer also opened its 100th store in December, 2009.
