Iconic Australian designer, Collette Dinnigan has expanded her fashion collection portfolio with the addition of a new component.

The designer, who currently operates three distinct brands – Collette Dinnigan mainline, Collette by Collette Dinnigan lingerie and Collette by Collette Dinnigan diffusion – will now launch her first ever main line bridal lingerie collection next month.

The Collette Dinnigan bridal lingerie range is set to include two stories of ivory silk and lace lingerie, with the couture lingerie range embellished by signature design elements such as sculpted silk and lace detailing.

In total, the debut collection will contain 19 exclusive pieces, with key styles including contour and padded silk lined bras, bustiers, suspenders, bikini briefs, control briefs, g-strings, a chemise and a statement silk kimono and garter.

Dinnigan said the new line was a “a natural addition” to her growing fashion business.

“The Collette Dinnigan customer is the modern woman who has her own sense of style and enjoys a touch of luxury, [so] my new bridal lingerie collection is designed to capture a timeless, modern elegance that epitomises luxury, creating the perfect setting for a bride to feel beautiful and special on her wedding day,” she said.

Price points for the Collette Dinnigan bridal lingerie line will range from $29.95 for g-strings, to $39.95 for briefs, $89.95 for bras, $44.95 for suspenders, $150 for bustiers, $34.95 for the garter and $300 for the silk kimono.

The complete collection will be available online at the official Collette Dinnigan e-boutique online, as well as through David Jones stores nationally from September 2012.
