Surfwear icon Mambo this week unveiled a teaser for its spring/summer 2012 Mambo Goddess campaign.
Shot at several locations on a California road trip, the campaign captures three fashion stories across Tropicana, Aqueous and Tribal Illusions.
The all-Australian creative team comprised:
Photographer: Jason Ierace
Stylist: Imogene Barron
Producer: Sasha Leibowitz
Hair and Makeup: Rae Morris
Designer: Brigid Moloney
The new Mambo Goddess swimwear collection will launch into Myer stores nationally on August 10, as well as surfstitch.com.au and select online and retail stockists nationwide.
The Tropicana story features jade green and soft aqua blues printed on shiny lycra bases; with 50's pin-up girl styling such as blaconette detailing.
Aqueous features shell and beach shard inspired prints, with a feminine colour palette and folds and twists designed to give a sense of being wrapped and submerged in water.
Meanwhile Tribal Illusions takes an edgier angle, featuring scratched prints, knot detailing and multi-strap features.
Mambo will appoint a new face to its brand later this month, joining ambassadors such as Jodhi Meares, Cheyenne Tozzi, Jessica Gomes and Erin McNaught.
