Designer Bettina Liano is preparing her own comeback, following news her original brand is relaunching under new owners.
As announced yesterday, Apparel Group will reintroduce the Bettina Liano brand in February 2019.
Apparel Group purchased the brand out of administration in 2012.
Now founder and designer Bettina Liano is releasing a new collection of jeans under her BYBL label in Fall 2019.
The new BYBL Fall 2019 collection will focus entirely on jeans, with a basics t-shirt line to follow.
As well as featuring signature skinny denim styles, the new collection will also feature a variety of high waisted styles , relaxed fits, boot legs and straight legs.
BYBL is made in Australia using premium denim imported from Europe. A representative for Liano said the brand is not related to the Bettina Liano label.
"This is seperate and Bettina has no connection with the Apparel Group."
On the brand's website, the company has stated: "BYBL by Bettina Liano is brought to you from the design studio of Bettina Liano. Beware of imitation."
