Australian consumers will be among the first to access a revolutionary product from a famed French house.

Simone Pérèle is aiming to get a slice of the lucrative shapewear market by releasing a lingerie range that claims to remove up to 67 per cent of visible signs of cellulite from hips, thighs and buttocks.

Australian consumers will be among the first to access the product when it lands at department store David Jones and selected boutiques this month.

The 'Top Model-Cellulite Control' range is created using an infused Lycra fabric which includes aloe vera, vitamin E, plant oils, menthol, caffeine, retinol and ceramides with the individual nylon and lace threads.

Simone Pérèle claims the result is a material which can reduce up to 2cm from around the hips in less than one month.

The “microencapsulated” threads are said to work in the same way as anti-cellulite creams, with three shapewear styles targeting different areas.

The High Waist Shaper, the Life Shaper and the Full Shaper are priced from $84.95 to $124.95.
